The Company is managed by well qualified and experienced staff with many years in farm management and sustainability.

CMS Staff are highly motivated with a team Spirit and good leadership capabilities. All the Senior Staff are Degree Holders; Field Farm Managers also degree holders.

The field farm managers with farm managers being at least degree graduates in agriculture.

Kamau Kuria, Managing Director

A qualified Agronomist and team oriented business executive, he holds an MBA and a Bachelors degree in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi. At the age of 40, he has been held various senior positions in the coffee industry from 1988 to date having started as a coffee farm manager. He has a proven high performance record, a reason why he rose across the ladder swiftly to become the General Manager Agronomy, in a well established farm management company in Kenya. In this position, he was responsible in supervising the farm management operations of 5000ha of coffee and 600ha of tea, covering Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia.

He has also worked as the representative of UTZ Kapeh in two continents, Africa and India, assisting producers to become certified and consequently linking them to markets for the certified coffee.

Martin Ngare, Operations Manager

Holder of a Bachelors degree in Agriculture and Home Economics from Egerton University. He has been successfully involved in farm management for the last 9yrs, having started as a coffee farm manager, and later as a tea farm manager, who rose to a senior position of a Group Manager in a well established farm management company in Kenya.

While working as a Group Manager, he was charged with the responsibility of supervising operations of 8 large coffee farms and 4 tea estates ranging from 60ha to 240ha each. He is renowned for his skills in turning around farm enterprises to high profitability.

Michael Gitau, Head Agronomist

A holder of a bachelors degree in Agriculture from Egerton University. He started as a coffee farm manager and rose up the ranks to a senior management position of a Group Manager with a well established farm management company in Kenya. He has worked in the coffee farm management services for 15 years as an agronomist and is known to possess excellent skills that result to high production and quality for the farms, hence good profitability.

He is responsible for the operations management of 9 coffee farms ranging from 50ha to 330ha each. He was also in charge of sustainability issues for all the company farms and undertook successfully various projects including sitting in a national steering committee organized by FKE on child labour eradication in the agricultural industry.
